Oana Nutu’s fascination with fashion began in childhood, when she would spend hours sewing clothes for her dolls—often undressing them the moment she received them, simply to create something new.
In 2013, that instinct became a business. What began with handmade bow ties soon evolved into clothing designed for herself and, as friends began asking for pieces of their own, into made-to-measure creations, occasionwear, and eventually her very first wedding gown.
Following the pandemic, Oana Nutu found its defining direction in corsetry. What started as a signature piece gradually became the heart of the brand, establishing Oana Nutu as one of Romania’s most recognized names in modern corsetry and a first choice for women looking for pieces that combine structure, femininity, and contemporary design.
At the heart of this story is our Traditional Corset—our most appreciated design and a piece that carries something beyond fashion. Inspired by the Romanian ie and its traditional motifs, it reinterprets elements of our cultural heritage through the language of contemporary corsetry. For us, it represents both where we come from and something we hope to carry forward.
